baby girl!

well it's been a long time since i updated this, my new pictures are up on facebook and myspace, May 26th we found out we are having a baby girl!!! It's pretty cool b/c my mom's first born was a girl, my sister's first born was a girl and my first born will be a girl
We are getting things organized for her room, i am looking for signs to put in her room, we have been so blessed with the amount of gifts we have received so far, we are getting free paint for her room, her crib will be here soon and then i can go and get her crib bedding
We are still deciding on her name and most likely will choose it when she is born!
so far they are still sticking to a due date of October 11th, at the last apt she weighed over 13ozs. has big feet and long legs, just like me when i was born.
I swear she will be a kickboxer when she gets older, she already loves cars, when coda starts up his cars she goes crazy in there! She loves chips with a hint of lime and pasta for some reason it makes her go bonkers in there!
anyways there is a little update on us

genetic testing

well the apt went great, baby is stubborn and very active
I am starting to feel flutters no kicking yet, and my stomach is huge at night!
next apt is the 21st where we will set the BIG DATE!!! whoo hoo!! i'm super excited!!

ultrasound!

on monday the 23rd we went to the first ultrasound apt!! Oh man what a feeling that is seeing your baby just moving away in there!
they changed my due date to oct. 11th
and this monday i am going back to get some more blood drawn and another ultrasound for genetic testing! should be fun!!

new update

I decided i haven't posted anything new on here lately
let's see the 16th i had my first apt at the new office and I am so glad I made that switch!!!
I heard the heartbeat from the doppler and oh my goodness that was the best sound i have ever heard Praise God we have a perfect little heartbeat!
today is my first "ob" apt, where i hope to have a ultrasound and see our baby
we went and did a little shopping and bought a few outfits
i am gaining weight and now only two pairs of jeans fit!

First apt

Well yesterday was my first dr's apt.
It was just with the nurse, and they took my blood and my weight
and tried to hear the baby's heartbeat with a doppler, even though she said it is to soon to hear it with a doppler b/c i'm not 10 weeks yet, we were unable to hear it:( I have a tilted uterus which will make it harder to find it

But after the apt. I decided that, that was not the facility for me. There are 5 dr.'s there and even if i schedule a apt with the same dr everytime, i am not guaranteed that dr. will deliver my baby. I want a more personal experience with someone who will know my body, I have decided to switch to a midwife who will deliver at the hospital. She is great and her practice is wonderful.
I want someone who is all about babies not a person who will be there a hour before the baby is born
So my first apt with the midwife is the 16th, where they will do a doppler again and then on the 23rd they will possibly do a u/s

9 weeks!!

today i made it to 9 weeks!!! YAY!!! Monday is my first apt! i'm very excited!
I hope that everything goes ok with it

New cravings----
Chinese food, it seems i can't get enough of it!
any kind of sour candy, ( yes i eat in moderation and i make sure there is no high fructose corn syrup in it)
peanut butter and jelly sandwiches

that's about it for my update, my belly is growing a little bit and you can tell i am showing when i eat a big meal!

clarifying

I have had a few questions about my poll on here
i only put that b/c coda and I work were both close to 10lbs! In fact I weighed more than him, everyone in my family had big babies and his family to, so that has been our joke since we first got together that we would have a 18lb child lol!

This weekend had it's stressful points, with Charlie jumping as hard as he could on my stomach!!! OUCH!!!!
I am a little nauseous but working through it
